Outfielder Jose Guillen was scheduled to play right field and bat third against the Marlins on Friday night, but he was a last-minute scratch after straining his left oblique muscle during batting practice. After putting Drese on the DL, the Nationals purchased the contract of relief pitcher Saul Rivera from Triple-A New Orleans. --
