Leadership is a righteous dictatorship. Rather, it is deternined by the advancement of its "technology".) 经验=时间+金钱 (Experiece = time + money) 成长,你的名字就叫痛苦 (Sufferng is the identical twin of growth.) 成功的途径:1. 抄 2.研究 3.创造 4.发明。 (The path to success: 1. imitation; 2.research; 3.creation; 4.invention.) 「三局」就是格局、布局、步局 (Scope, vision, execution) 少林寺的和尚武功千变万化,飞檐走壁,是过去挑了多 少桶水上山? (The kung-fu master of Shaolin Temple only attain their omnipotent skills after years of tedious, grueling abd mundane training.) 胸怀千万里,心思细如丝 (Thinking big, but don’t lose sight of details.) 人过的五十岁,不但要懂得踩油门,更要懂得采煞车。 (When you’re over 50, you not only need to know when to press the gas pedal, more importantly, you need to know when to step on the brakes. 速度快的人赚钱,速度慢的人卖库存,而且,还要是Top Sales才能把库存卖出去。 (He who acts the swiftest makes the most most. He who acts slowly can only resolve to sell inventories. Moreover, it;s only the Top Sales who are capable of depleting inventories.) 不要只从数字看问题,要会从结构看问题。 (Don’t analyze a problem by the numbers. Learn to dissect it from its structure.) [人才篇] 企业人生三部曲:人材、人才、人财。 (Life story of a corporation: raw recruits, skilled talents, and talent cutivation.) 心胸有多大,舞台就有多大。 (Your potential is only limited by your aspirations.) 人才的竞争力:必须建立在处理资讯的过程中,要有「知识」与「技术」的附加价值。 (The key to harnessing the competitive edge in manpower: the ability to add value to knowledge and technology while processing information.) 「全球化」就是人才当地化。 (Globalization is the localization of skilled talents.) 有人做错就把他换掉,他的经验等於就没有用了。 (If you replace someone every time he falters, you will never be able to leverage the experiences accumulated.) 人才的三心:责任心、上进心、企图心 (Three A;s of talent: accountability, ambition, and aspiration.) 天才就让它留在天上。天才型研发人员到每一家公司都令人头痛。 (Geniuses should keep their fantastic ideas to themselves. Customer demands supersede changes.) 一理、二情、三法。 (Approach to problem solving: first by reason, then by sentiment, finally by legal means.) 发展的根本,建立在「随机应变」的执行能力。 (The foundation of development is built on the ability to adapt and adjust instantaneously.) 一个地震很多的地方,人的警觉性特别高。 (People who live in earthquake zones are often the most alert.) 主管每天要做什麽?定策略、建组织、布人力、置系统。 (A manager’s daily routine: strategy formulation, organization building, manpower allocation, and system construction.) 个人化的来临,制造业要学会走上服务业。 (With the advent of individualization, the manufacturing industry needs to embark on the path of the service industry.) 销售人员的职责:选对客户并建立分级、分类制度;建立良好的客户上、中、下层级关系 ;找到新产品开发机会;竞争对手分析;抢夺订单并即时配合客户计画;完成交货 (适品 、适质、适时、适量);完成品质服务(设计、生产、客户使用之问题);忠实传真;应收 帐款。 (Responsibilities of sales staff: proper selection and classification of customers; establishing sound relations with all ranks of customers; identifying the optimum opportunities for new product development; analysis of competitors; aggressively closing sales deals and timely catering to customers’ plans; delivery of products (right product, superb quality, on-time delivery, proper quantities); faithful delivery of information; collection of payments.) 每一个公司都要做好两件事情:新产品开发+产销平衡。 (The two basic tasks of any companies: new product development + equilibrium between production and sales.) 系统 = 流程+表单。 (System = process flow + documentation.) 鸿海四大管制系统:工管、品管、生管、经管。 (Foxconn’s pillars of management: engineering management. quality management, production management, and operation management.) 市场 = 客户 + 产品 (Market = customers + product.) 一个行业一定要有人进来、有人退出,才算健康。 (Turnovers are signs of a healthy industry.) 全球化思考逻辑:客户->产品->功能(即系统)->地理位置。 (Logic behind globalization: customers->products->system capabilities-> geographic positioning.) 天下没有完美的办法,但总有更好的办法。 (You can never formulate the perfect solution, but you can always find a better one.) [逆境篇] 人在困苦、饥饿的时候,头脑会特别清楚。 (Desperation brings about the sharpest mind.) 可不可能,不是问题,而是行动。 (Feasibility is not a question. It’s about taking action.) 市场,是靠「透明度」和「竞争度」来培养它的「成熟度」。 (The maturity of a market is nurtured by transparency and competitiveness.) 顺境的人生人人会走,只是速度快慢而已;人一定要学着走逆境,而且愈年轻愈好,因为 逆境才是真正学习成长的机会。 (When things ar going your way, the sky is the limit. However, when the going get tough, that’s when the real challenges and learning emerge. Moreover, the younger you are when ocnfronted with challengers, ther faster you’ll mature.) 为钱做事,容易累;为理想做事,能够耐风寒;为兴趣做事,则永不倦怠。 (Working for money-tiring; working for ideals- enduring; working for interest - everlasting.) 乌龟一定要知道别把兔子吵醒。相对的,兔子是否肯像乌龟那样一跑三十年? (The tortoise needs to realize that it shall never wake the napping hare. On the same token, do you really think the hare will sprint for 30 straight years?) 品质,是价值与尊严的起点,也是公司赖以生存的命脉。简单的说,品质就是客户愿意用 两倍的价格来跟你买,而且还很高兴。 (Quality is the basis of values and dignity. Quality is also the cornerstone of a company’s existence. Simply put, quality is the reason why customers are willing and happy to pay for your product for twice the normal price.) 成功是个最差劲的导师,只会带给你无知和胆怯,却不能带给你下一次成功的经验和智慧 。 (Success is the worst counselor there could be. It only brings us ignorance and reservations, and it always fails to provide us with the experience and wisdom required for next success.) 成功的三部曲:选好策略、下定决心、用对方法。 (The trilogy of success: select the appropriate strategy, make a determined choice, utilize the right methodology.) 以成败论英雄,根本是在责任心。有责任感的人遇到困难,会主动去解决、设法去改变, 就容易成功。 (It’s accountability that sets apart a hero from the crowd.
