各位同学们好： 学术部刚收到来自NTU EECS YFC的通知（注一）， YFC邀请到美国德州仪器（TI）前任副总裁蒋明先生给我们一个为期两天的workshop。 蒋先生在美国服务数十载， 以华人身分得以突破 glass ceiling 而跻身於美国一流企业的领导阶层， 足见其过人的领导与管理才华。 一直以来，蒋先生很乐於把数十年来领导与管理上的体悟与年轻人分享， 在美国时常获邀演讲分享个人的领导与管理哲学， 听者咸认获益良多。 此次适逢蒋先生回台， 很荣幸刚好蒋先生来访台大电资给我们一个workshop， 内容纲要如下所示。 Day 1: 8/17(Tue) 10:00~12:00, 博理馆113: What is human being : (1) Self anatomy : Understand ourselves (2) Physical body, soul and spirit (3) The journey if life (4) The law that rule over us : Spiritual Law (5) Live a life of wisdom. 8/17(Tue) 13:30~15:30, 博理馆113: Talent (1) What is talent (2) category of talent (3) Find people's talent (4) Utilization of talent --------------- Day 2 : 8/18(Wed) 10:00~12:00, 博理馆113: Morning : Leadership (1) Define leader (2) The difference between leader and manager (3) What does it take to be a good leader (4) What does leader do (5) Servant Leadership 8/18(Wed) 13:30~15:30, 博理馆113: Management 1 (1) Define the job of manager (2) How to be a good manager, mission vision, strategy (3) Measure success of manager (4) How to be a good technical manager 8/18(Wed) 15:40~17:40, 博理馆113: Manage research project in academic environment (1) Control the finance and efficient utilization of resource (2) Result oriented research, always top down. Manage big picture. (3) Tracking the project with the right tool (4) Be fundamental and methodical. (5) Manage people with good communication.
