My Fair Lady《
《My Fair Lady》
Henry
Wagon》
Get Me to the Church on Time《及时带我去教堂》
Higgins
Dolittle
I'm getting married in the morning
Ding! Dong! the bells are gonna chime.
Pull out the stopper; 拔开酒瓶的塞子;
Let's have a whopper; 痛饮一番;
But get me to the church on time!
I gotta be there in the morning,
Spruced up and looking in my prime.
Girls, come and kiss me; 小妞们,香一个吧!
Show how you'll miss me, 秀一下你们将会多麽想我,
But get me to the church on time!
If I am dancing, roll up the floor!
If I am whistling, (whistle) me out the door!
For I'm getting married in the morning; 因我早上要结婚;
Ding! Dong! the bells are gonna chime.
Kick up an rumpus,
But don't lost the compass; 但别失去方向;
And get me to the church,
For Pete's sake, get me to the church on time!
Wouldn't It Be Lovely《
All I want is a room somewhere,
Far away from the cold night air,
With one enormous chair; 房间里有张宽大座椅;
Oh, wouldn't it be Loverly?
Lots of choc'late for me to eat; 有许多巧克力可吃;
Lots of coal makin' lots of heat; 有许多煤可取暖;
Warm face, warm hands, warm feet,
Oh, wouldn't it be Loverly?
Oh, so loverly sittin' absobloomin'lutely still!
I would never budge 'till spring
Crept over a window sill.
Someone's head restin' on my knee; 有人头依着我膝;
Warm and tender as he can be; 他温柔又体贴;
Who takes good care of me, 他真心真意照顾我,
Oh, wouldn't it be Loverly?
Loverly! Loverly!
The Rain in Spain《
Higgins
The rain in Spain stays mainly in the plain.
I think she's got it!
The rain in Spain stays mainly in the plain.
By George, she's got it!
Now once again, where does it rain?
On the plain! On the plain!
And where's that soggy plain?
In Spain! In Spain!
The rain in Spain stays mainly in the plain!
I think she's got it!
The rain in Spain stays mainly in the plain!
Now once again, where does it rain?
On the plain! On the plain!
And where's that blasted plain?
In Spain! In Spain!
The rain in Spain stays mainly in the plain!
With A Little Bit of Luck《
The Lord above gave man an arm of iron,
So he could do his job and never shirk.
The Lord gave man an arm of iron.
But with a little bit of luck,
With a little bit of luck,
Someone else'll do the blinkin' work.
With a little bit of luck you'll never work.
Oh, you can walk the straight and narrow,
But with a little bit of luck you'll run a mock.
The gentle sex was made for man to marry; 温柔伴侣是男人天生的配偶;
To tend his needs and see his food is cooked.
The gentle sex was made for man to marry,
But with a little bit of luck,
with a little bit of luck,
You can have it all and not get hooked.
With a little bit of bloomin' luck.
I Could Have Danced All Night《
I could have danced all night!
And still have begged for more.
I could have spread my wings,
And done a thousand things
I've never done before.
I'll never know what made it so exciting,
Why all at once my heart took flight.
I only know when he began to dance with me,
I could have danced, danced, danced all night!
I've Grown Accustomed to Her Face《
I've grown accustomed to her face.
She almost makes the day begin.
I've grown accustomed to the tune,
She whistles night and noon,
Her smiles, her frowns, her ups, her downs
Are second nature to me now; 现在己经成为我的第二天性了;
Like breathing out and breathing in.
I was serenely independent and content
before we met; 我独立而满足;
Surely I could always be that way again and yet;
I've grown accustomed to her looks; 然而,我己习惯於她的样子;
Accustomed to her voice; 习惯於她的语调;
Accustomed to her face.
On the Street Where You Live《
Eliza;当 Eliza 离开 Higgins 时,Eliza 甚至考虑过嫁给这位深爱她的年轻人;
I have often walked down this street before, 从前我经常步行过这条街,
But the pavement always stayed
Beneath my feet before.
All at once am I sev'ral stories high,
Knowing I'm on the street where you live.
Are there lilac trees in the heart of town?
Can you hear a lark in any other part of town?
Does enchantment pour out of ev'ry door?
No, it's just on the street where you live.
And, oh, the towering feeling,
Just to know somehow you are near!
The overpowering feeling
That any second you may suddenly appear!
People stop and stare, they don't bother me; 路人们停下脚步盯着我,
我也不在意;
For there's no where else on earth that I would rather be.
Let the time go by, 就让时光流逝吧,
I won't care if I 我不在乎,
Can be here on the street where you live.
