A tentative syllabus is attached for your review. As you can see, this is a heavy course. We will start the case week on Wednesday morning when the first two case write-ups are due. You need to pick up the cases on Tuesday morning and start your case work on Tuesday afternoon and therefore, you need to contact your group members to find a time and place to meet for the first two case write ups. The reason for a case week is to give you the pressure to finish analyzing cases within a short time framework. You have to plan all your work and the use of your time ahead. Based on my experience, after the first week, you case analysis capabilities will improve dramatically. This is your productivity. Remember, Harvard MBAs have three cases a day, five days in a row and last for two years. I want you to have the same experience. YOU NEED TO EMAIL TO THE TA TO CONFIRM YOUR ENROLLMENT OF THE COURSE BY 2PM MONDAY OR I WILL ASSUME THAT YOU HAVE NO INTENTION TO TAKE THE COURSE.
