大家不知道还记不记得chapter 1 习题第三大题有提到agreement
我去翻了一下Quirk的当代英文文法
有看到他谈论关於government 这类的collective nouns
对於单复数动词的用法他做了以下的说明~ 大家就参考看看吧
" The difference in substitution (指动词单复数的转换) reflects a difference in
attitude"
(1) the singular(单数动词) stresses the non-personal collectivity of the group
(2) the plural(复数动词) stresses the personal individuality within the group
