As you know the English garaduation threshold, you need to pass these examination GEPT - The General English Proficiency Test in Intermediate level http://www.lttc.ntu.edu.tw/E_LTTC/E_GEPT/intermediate.htm or TOEIC listening and readin test with the score 650 http://www.toeic.com.tw/ Some of you may remember that there were 7 seniors didn't past the threshold and try to beg the department to let them leave school. For avoiding this situation act again, our department make a decission that we can go to the language center and attend some practices. The center will provide 15 suits of practicing questions of TOEIC and I think if you didn't pass it yet, it will really be a good chance to have a practice with no money. In fact the testbooks of TOEIC are very expensive in my experiences. I just add everyone's name on the list of the English study group. If you don't want to go to the language center to practice TOEIC or you don't need it, let me know as soon as possible. many thanks Mu-Hsiue 亲爱的硕二班同学, 系上在开学之初曾经开过系务会议讨论过上一届的学长姐英文没有通过的问题, 想必大家都还记得有大概7位左右的学长姐因为英文的关系没办法如期提早离开学校, 为了不要再有所谓的"特例"出现, 系务会议讨论出的结果是: 如果, 同学没有办法通过全民英检中级初试orTOEIC650分等毕业门槛, 可以透过参加语言中心TOEIC训练用的考题(共计15套)至少5套 等要求来达到系上要求的补救措施, 细节如下 1. 两次英文考试未通过 2. 口试通过 3. 至少参加5次语言中心提供之TOEIC练习 目前预设大家都有意愿参加语言中心的练习 (提供15套不同的题目,可以省下大家去买题目的钱) 将由系上制册送交语言中心, 详细时间和地点在一切确定之後会再通知大家, 如有疑问也 可以询问赖姐或是雷焜安学弟 mushiue --
