But throwing too many strikes isn't always a good thing. However, there's a difference between control and command. No, this isn't meant to conjure up memories of "White Men Can't Jump" -- specifically, a "you may listen to Jimi, but you don't hear Jimi" semantics debate. 是的，理论上，对投手而言只有好一点的控球投起球来就会比较简单。但是控制 (Control)和掌控(Command)还是有差异的。不，这不是意味着让你想起记忆中的 " 白人跳不高"的诡辩 － 特别是，"你可能听过Jimi Hendrix, 但却没有听到Jimi Hendrix" 这些语意的辩论。 So much for doing the right thing. There's reason to be hopeful, though. Milwaukee's Dave Bush and Cleveland's Paul Byrd -- while flawed -- are still closer to success than their numbers indicate. Once Bush, Byrd and the gang bridge that gap, they'll command their own destinies. 　　 　 控制(Control)和掌控(Command)的差异在於一者是投进好球带，另一是则是投出有 品质的好球。除非Bush, Byrd和他们相类型的投手可以弥补两者之间的差异，他们才可 以掌控他们的命运。 --
