Mike Woodson doesn’t know why Carmelo Anthony wasn’t playing with the same
intensity under Mike D’Antoni but the new Knicks head coach admits that if
Anthony was at the top of his game all season “we probably wouldn’t be
sitting in this position that we’re sitting in today, fighting for a playoff
spot.
Woodson不知道为什麽Melo之前在冷笑话时期没有打出像今天一样的表现，
但他坦承:「如果Melo整季都像今天这样，我们绝对不是只有像现在这样还在为季後赛挣
扎。」
Anthony has acknowledged that he’s been playing with more energy since the
coaching change, which is less of a reflection on D’Antoni and more of a
reflection on Anthony, who is being blamed for D’Antoni stepping down.
Melo承认他在换教练之後打的比较有活力，他也被认为是让冷笑话走人的主因。
“I’ll say to you and I’ll say to Melo, he’s got to bring the energy now,”
Woodson said before the Knicks routed the Raptors, 106-87, on Tuesday. “I’
m the head coach and I can’t speak for what’s happened. I was a part of it.
But, he’s got to play harder, and Amar’e (Stoudemire) has got to play
harder.
赛前，Woodson说:「Melo必须要更有活力。我现在是总教练，不想为已经发生的事情多
说什麽，但Melo必须更努力，阿骂也必须更努力。」
“Everybody’s got to play harder to get us where we need to go. And that’s
the only way it’s going to happen .”
Woodson:「大家都必须更努力来达成目标，这就是现在唯一要做的事。」
