Mike D'Antoni was hot after tonight's blowout loss and wanted to make sure all the beat writers were around when he told the story about his sitdown with Marbury before the game. The Knicks had only seven able bodies, forcing D'Antoni by league rules to suit up the exiled Marbury and claimed he wanted to give him at least 35 minutes. Marbury hadn't played a second all season, had sat in street clothes for three weeks. Marbury declined. He decided he wasn't "comfortable'' being a one-night stand. "This is it, it's the last time I'm answering this question,'' D'Antoni said angrily. "I sat him down and said one of the principles are gone, Jamal Crawford , there's 30-35 minutes out there that's yours if you want them. He said the team's gone in a different direction and he wasn't comfortable and didn't want to play. That's it. "We're going forward. I thought it was an opportunity. I was kind of hoping. There's consideration for a lot of guys in the locker room giving their hearts out. Those are the guys I'm going to go on with and those are the guys I'm going to love.
