CAF (Federal Appeals Court) reaches decision on Agricola
The long-running trial of Dr. Riccardo Agricola,
which began back in 1998 after the accusations of Zdenek Zeman
and the resulting investigations by the Turin magistrature,
has finally come to an end. During the hearing the CAF,
chaired by Dr. Mastandrea, rejected the appeal launched
by the CONI's (Italian Olympic Committee) anti-doping prosecutor,
upholding the case presented by Agricola's lawyer Chiappero.
The definitive inviability of the disciplinary action regarding
Dr. Agricola was therefore established, and today his long and
laborious ordeal is now officially over.
