Younes Kaboul and David Button both played 90 minutes of international football over the Bank Holiday weekend. Defender Younes was in action for France Under-21s as they defeated their Dutch counterparts 2-1 in the first of three friendly matches in Sweden. Young goalkeeper Button, who made six starts for our Reserve side last season, was between the sticks as England Under-19s defeated their Polish counterparts 2-0 in Minsk. It was the first of three European Championship Elite qualifiers coming up over the next week, with Serbia and hosts Belarus next up.
