新闻来源 - 官网 Dimitar Berbatov has been named on the preliminary 50-man shortlist for the prestigious Ballon d’Or. Berbatov is the first Tottenham Hotspur player to be included as a candidate for the accolade awarded by France Football magazine since David Ginola in 1999. The award is voted for by journalists from each member country of UEFA, with France Football taking the decision this year to expand eligibility for the Ballon d’Or to players from every league in the world, having previously only considered those plying their trade in Europe.
