Spurs boss Martin Jol is thought to be willing to pay 6million for the centre-back, but that falls well short of Albion's 8million valuation of the 22-year-old who has represented England at Under-21 level. And agent Phil Sproson insists the Baggies' asking price is far too high, telling the Sunday Mirror: "West Brom are trying to price him out of the market and 8m is totally unrealistic. "What foundation is there for that? He's an Under-21 and had one season in the Premiership.
