新闻来源 - Sky Sports Jol still confident Martin Jol feels Tottenham still have a good chance of reaching the Uefa Cup semi-finals despite seeing his side lose 2-1 to Sevilla on Thursday. Tottenham made a perfect start to the quarter-final as Robbie Keane scored an away goal after just 68 seconds, but Sevilla soon equalised after being awarded a contentious penalty. Alexander Kerzhakov then grabbed a second for Sevilla to leave Spurs needing victory in the return leg at White Hart Lane. But Jol insisted: "We've got a good chance. It's 50-50. "They've got some very good players, three or four outstanding players, but I feel the same applies for us." Jol was also disappointed with the penalty decision, as Paul Robinson was adjudged to have fouled Adriano Correia when replays showed the goalkeeper had taken the ball cleanly. The award of the penalty sparked ugly scenes in the crowd as Tottenham supporters clashed with riot police, but Jol believes his players were more shaken up by the events on the pitch. "I think the penalty decision affected us more than what happened in the stands," he explained. "But we came out in the second half and took control of the game. "Every time when we pressurised them we created something, so that was good to see. I still feel that we have a chance in the second leg. "Before the game you could say you would have taken the 2-1, but on the other hand I feel disappointed about the penalty decision and a bit disappointed that we could not convert one of our chances afterwards." Sevilla coach Juande Ramos admitted his side were below par, and predicted a tight second leg next Thursday. "Obviously its very important to be going to White Hart Lane in front" he said. "We were not as fluid as normal, we did not get to the byline on the number of occasions that we normally do.
