Martin Jol held his hands up after the defeat at the Emirates Stadium and conceded: "We can't complain about the result." The key decisions certainly went Arsenal's way. It was a marginal offside call for the first goal after 20 minutes, Pascal Chimbonda connected with the ball first in the tackle that lead to number two via the penalty spot just before half-time and Robin Van Persie appeared to handle before winning the second penalty in the second half, converted by Gilberto for a final 3-0 scoreline. Martin was quizzed in the post-match press conference about those decisions but took it all on the chin. "We are all disappointed and all very quiet because we wanted to do something here, the first derby of the season and first at the new stadium," said a naturally glum Martin afterwards. "I won't be silly and talk about the decisions because I want to focus on our performance. If we'd created five or six chances you could have said that the penalties cost us, but we gave them too much of the ball. "Normally they create a lot of chances but they didn't this time - but we still gave them too much of the ball "I think the big difference was their defending, they were aggressive and we started off a bit too casually. "It's tough in the Premiership. If you want to win games, you have to get hold of the ball and that's our philosophy - if we haven't got the ball, we want to get it back quickly and keep it, but we didn't do that.
