有多加了一堆翻摄插画的图文版~ https://www.zoncheng.com/2020/06/0387-harry-potter-and-zons-murmur.html --- 去年因为一档Podcast的启发(https://hpup.fireside.fm/)，所以真的从Harry Potter第 一集开始看原文，展开了4,224页的文字旅行。 不过因为这次看的是原文，不会像看中文一样，直接扫过一堆形容词，意外的觉得好看。 以下是看的过程中觉得有趣的地方与感想，与大家分享。 只是究竟不是什麽很懂的粉丝，所以理解错误的地方大家笑笑就算了XD~ 以下是这几个月来的小小书摘与murmr~ 中间穿插一些翻摄近几年来新出版的哈利波特插 画版照片(小图点了可以放大)~有些图与连续的文没有直接关系，单纯喜欢…这篇文章也 算是这几个月来的记忆~ 吧~ -------------------- “You mean you’re running away?” said Harry disbelievingly. “After all that stuff you did in your books—” “Books can be misleading,” said Lockhart delicately. 出自Harry与Lockhart的对话，让人想到尽信书不如无书。 --- Break with a Banshee Gadding with Ghouls Holidays with Hags Travels with Trolls Voyages with Vampires Wanderings with Werewolves Year with the Yeti Lockhart出的书大都有押韵…，字首也都一样，相当用心。 --- TOM MARVOLO RIDDLE Then he waved the wand once, and the letters of his name rearranged themselves: I AM LORD VOLDEMORT 佛地魔取名的片段，说真的有点中二… --- Fawkes the phoenix had swooped past Harry and was now fluttering in front of him, his beady eyes bright in the dark. He was waving his long golden tail feathers. 我好喜欢对Dumbledore凤凰的描写 --- “Oh, well… I’d just been thinking… if you had died, you’d have been welcome to share my toilet,” said Myrtle, blushing silver. 厕所女鬼麦朵很善良，愿意分享。 --- “Got a sock,” said Dobby in disbelief. “Master threw it, and Dobby caught it, and Dobby—Dobby is free.” Lucius Malfoy stood frozen, staring at the elf. Then he lunged at Harry. “You’ve lost me my servant, boy!” 很开心Dobby自由了!!! --- She pointed to the brand-new silver badge on Percy's chest. "Second Head Boy in the family!" she said, swelling with pride. "And last," Fred muttered under his breath. 突然觉得Fred回得很好；但现在想想，他们的後代会不会就受诅咒都当不成Head Boy~ --- "Loony, loopy Lupin," Peeves sang. "Loony, loopy Lupin, loony, loopy Lupin --" 我忘了皮皮鬼在电影里有没有唱歌了…在书中倒是有很多即兴歌曲…真的是急智歌王 ~ --- Hermione went very red, put down her hand, and stared at the floor with her eyes full of tears. It was a mark of how much the class loathed Snape that they were all glaring at him, because every one of them had called Hermione a know-it-all at least once, and Ron, who told Hermione she was a know-it-all at least twice a week, said loudly, "You asked us a question and she knows the answer! Why ask if you don't want to be told?" The class knew instantly he'd gone too far. Snape advanced on Ron slowly, and the room held its breath. "Detention, Weasley," Snape said silkily, his face very close to Ron's. "And if I ever hear you criticize the way I teach a class again, you will be very sorry indeed. " 看小说才发现Ron真的是护花使者 --- "Harry, I've just found out who Ravenclaw is playing as Seeker. It's Cho Chang. She's a fourth year, and she's pretty good. . . 原来张秋第三集就出来了 @@ 西追也是 --- Lupin sighed, and looked directly at Harry. "I told you, months ago, that the Whomping Willow was planted the year I came to Hogwarts. The truth is that it was planted because I came to Hogwarts. This house" -- Lupin looked miserably around the room, -- "the tunnel that leads to it -- they were built for my use. Once a month, I was smuggled out of the castle, into this place, to transform. The tree was placed at the tunnel mouth to stop anyone coming across me while I was dangerous. " 我本来一直觉得柳树很抢戏，为什麽二、三集都会一直提到，原来... --- "They couldn't keep me company as humans, so they kept me company as animals," said Lupin. "A werewolf is only a danger to people. They sneaked out of the castle every month under James's Invisibility Cloak. They transformed. . . Peter, as the smallest, could slip beneath the Willow's attacking branches and touch the knot that freezes it. They would then slip down the tunnel and join me. Under their influence, I became less dangerous. My body was still wolfish, but my mind seemed to become less so while I was with them. 原来角色们变身的原因也很感性和理性，都是思考过的 --- Dudley had reached roughly the size and weight of a young killer whale. 朋友去查了杀人鲸的重量… 120-160kg 这个超浮夸啊 --- Percy cleared his throat significantly and looked down toward the end of the table where Harry, Ron, and Hermione were sitting. "You know the one I'm talking about, Father. " He raised his voice slightly. "The top-secret one. " Ron rolled his eyes and muttered to Harry and Hermione, "He's been trying to get us to ask what that event is ever since he started work. Probably an exhibition of thick-bottomed cauldrons. " Percy在第四集开始正在魔法部工作，在作一个Cauldron厚度标准的研究@@ --- Mr. Weasley was having no success at all in lighting the fire, but it wasn't for lack of trying. Splintered matches littered the ground around him, but he looked as though he was having the time of his life. "Oops!" he said as he managed to light a match and promptly dropped it in surprise. "Come here, Mr. Weasley," said Hermione kindly, taking the box from him, and showing him how to do it properly. 我觉得不会用巫师不会用火柴满扯的…应该算满早的发明… --- When Cornelius Fudge, the Minister of Magic himself, arrived, Percy bowed so low that his glasses fell off and shattered. Highly embarrassed, he repaired them with his wand and thereafter remained in his seat, throwing jealous looks at Harry, whom Cornelius Fudge had greeted like an old friend. Percy好多戏~ --- The lightning had thrown the man's face into sharp relief, and it was a face unlike any Harry had ever seen. It looked as though it had been carved out of weathered wood by someone who had only the vaguest idea of what human faces are supposed to look like, and was none too skilled with a chisel. Every inch of skin seemed to be scarred. The mouth looked like a diagonal gash, and a large chunk of the nose was missing. But it was the man's eyes that made him frightening. 还满喜欢这段，大家可以猜猜是形容哪位角色~ --- "Not spew," said Hermione impatiently. "It's S-P-E-W. Stands for the Society for the Promotion of Elfish Welfare." "Never heard of it," said Ron. "Well, of course you haven't," said Hermione briskly, "I've only just started it." 赖香伶(*)既视感。 *看书的时候她还是台北市的劳工局长 --- "We start by recruiting members," said Hermione happily. "I thought two Sickles to join - that buys a badge - and the proceeds can fund our leaflet campaign. You're treasurer, Ron - I've got you a collecting tin upstairs - and Harry, you're secretary, so you might want to write down everything I'm saying now, as a record of our first meeting." Hermione对於「家庭小精灵权益促进会」的发展想的非常多… --- "Harry," he said, very seriously, "whoever put your name in that goblet - I - I reckon they're trying to do you in!" It was as though the last few weeks had never happened - as though Harry were meeting Ron for the first time, right after he'd been made champion. "Caught on, have you?" said Harry coldly. "Took you long enough. " Hermione stood nervously between them, looking from one to the other. Ron opened his mouth uncertainly. Harry knew Ron was about to apologize and suddenly he found he didn't need to hear it. "It's okay," he said. 在第四集前半段，Harry与Ron的关系因为火盃考验资格的关系所以不太好。 终於在第一个考验之後破冰了… Then, as they rounded the clump of trees behind which Harry had first heard the dragons roar, a witch leapt out from behind them. It was Rita Skeeter. She was wearing acid-green robes today; the Quick-Quotes Quill in her hand blended perfectly against them. "Congratulations, Harry!" she said, beaming at him. "I wonder if you could give me a quick word? How you felt facing that dragon? How you feel now, about the fairness of the scoring?" "Yeah, you can have a word," said Harry savagely. "Good-bye. " And he set off back to the castle with Ron. 在破冰之後紧接着这一段然後本章结束，真棒 --- "Dobby has traveled the country for two whole years, sir, trying to find work!" Dobby squeaked. "But Dobby hasn't found work, sir, because Dobby wants paying now!" 感觉就是我如果辞职会发生的事… --- Dobby gets a Galleon a week and one day off a month! 小精灵多比的薪资条件 "Professor Dumbledore offered Dobby ten Galleons a week, and weekends off," said Dobby, suddenly giving a little shiver, as though the prospect of so much leisure and riches were frightening, "but Dobby beat him down, miss. . . . Dobby likes freedom, miss, but he isn't wanting too much, miss, he likes work better. " 奴性坚强的多比… --- Exactly who or what the Weird Sisters were Harry didn't know, never having had access to a wizard's wireless, but he deduced from the wild excitement of those who had grown up listening to the WWN (Wizarding Wireless Network) that they were a very famous musical group. 巫师不会用火柴，但是有电台…哪招?! --- ...but when he got near enough to see inside, he found himself looking at a number of flurry black creatures with long snouts. Their front paws were curiously flat, like spades, and they were blinking up at the class, looking politely puzzled at all the attention. 猜猜这是什麽生物~ "Yeh find 'em down mines mostly. They like sparkly stuff. . . . There yeh go, look. " 原来电影里的玻璃兽在小说第四集里就出现了.~ --- "Ludovic Bagman, you were caught passing information to Lord Voldemort's supporters," said Mr. Crouch. "For this, I suggest a term of imprisonment in Azkaban lasting no less than -" Ludovic Bagman大概是第四集里戏份算多，但电影完全没出现的角色，的样子 --- A jet of green light issued from Voldemort's wand just as a jet of red light blasted from Harry's - they met in midair - and suddenly Harry's wand was vibrating as though an electric charge were surging through it; his hand seized up around it; he couldn't have released it if he'd wanted to - and a narrow beam of light connected the two wands, neither red nor green, but bright, deep gold. 原来他们是绝地武土... --- the shadowy figures pressing in on them gasped it to those around them. . . and then others shouted it - screeched it - into the night - "He's dead!" "He's dead!" "Cedric Diggory! Dead!" "Harry, let go of him," he heard Fudge's voice say, and he felt fingers trying to pry him from Cedric's limp body, but Harry wouldn't let him go. Then Dumbledore's face, which was still blurred and misted, came closer. "Harry, you can't help him now. It's over. Let go. " "He wanted me to bring him back," Harry muttered - it seemed important to explain this. "He wanted me to bring him back to his parents. . . . " "That's right. Harry. . . just let go now. . . . " 第四集尾声，好让人难过的一段~ --- 'Do that one like a pig snout, Tonks. . . ' Tonks obliged, and Harry, looking up, had the fleeting impression that a female Dudley was grinning at him from across the table. Harry看到了变身的Tonks, 真的很酸... --- Professor Umbridge already seated at the teachers desk, wearing the fluffy pink cardigan of the night before and the black velvet bow on top of her head. Harry was again reminded forcibly of a large fly perched unwisely on top of an even larger toad. 英国人讽剌真的很狠...下面是另一段酸人穿衣的描述…以及微笑的描写~ He had not noticed her at first because she was wearing a luridly flowered set of robes that blended only too well with the tablecloth on the desk behind her. 'Oh, no,' said Umbridge, smiling so widely that she looked as though she had just swallowed a particularly juicy fly. --- An organisation, society, team, group or club is hereby defined as a regular meeting of three or more students. Permission to re-form may be sought from the High Inquisitor (Professor Umbridge). 突然觉得好像共产党喔~ --- 'THAT'S WHY SLYTHERINS ALL SING 'WEASLEY WAS BORN IN A BIN 'WEASLEY CANNOT SAVE A THING . . . ' HE ALWAYS LETS THE QUAFFLE IN. . . ' 'WEASLEY WILL MAKE SURE WE WIN WEASLEY IS OUR KING . . 嘲讽Ron的歌曲，都有押韵，好听~ --- 'Time to test our talents in the real world, d'you reckon?' asked Fred. 'Definitely,' said George. And before Umbridge could say a word, they raised their wands and said together: 'Accio brooms!' 我在想Fred & George是不是因为90年代满多矽谷创业家没读完书的启发，像Steve Jobs or Bill Gates --- "It's been like that for a while now," said Mrs. Weasley, in an unconvincingly casual voice, "ever since You-Know-Who came back into the open. I suppose everybody's in mortal danger now. . . I don't think it can be just our family. . . but I don't know anyone else who's got a clock like this, so I can't check. Oh!" With a sudden exclamation she pointed at the clock's face. Mr. Weasley's hand had switched to traveling. 魔法世界的很多魔法或道具现在都能用手机办到了…手机发个灯就是Lumos，Weasley家的 钟现在也有追踪App了XD --- Harry hardly noticed the sound of shattering glass; he felt dis-oriented, dizzy; being struck by a lightning bolt must be something like this. It's just because she's Ron's sister, he told himself. You just didn't like seeing her kissing Dean because she's Ron's sister. . . . But unbidden into his mind came an image of that same de-serted corridor with himself kissing Ginny instead. . . . The mon-ster in his chest purred . . . 觉得JK感情真的写的很不好，也没有前因，哈利就突然爱Ginny，,真的是WTF… --- "You shouldn't leave Lavender waiting outside," she said quietly. "She'll wonder where you've gone." She walked very slowly and erectly toward the door. Harry glanced at Ron, who was looking relieved that nothing worse had happened. "Oppugno!" came a shriek from the doorway. Harry spun around to see Hermione pointing her wand at Ron, her expression wild: The little flock of birds was speeding like a hail of fat golden bullets toward Ron, who yelped and covered his face with his hands, but the birds attacked, pecking and clawing at every bit of flesh they could reach. "Gerremoffme!" he yelled, but with one last look of vindictive fury, 这一段好希望电影有演出来；小鸟攻击，好像招唤兽 XD --- Enjoying the fact that they could speak normally again, they made their way along the deserted lamp-lit corridors back to the common room, arguing whether or not Filch and Madam Pince were secretly in love with each other. 美丽新关系 --- "Promise me you'll look after yourself.. .. Stay out of trouble. ..." "I always do, Mrs. Weasley," said Harry. "I like a quiet life, you know me." 突然觉得好笑 --- Voldemort's expression remained impassive as he said, "Greatness inspires envy, envy engenders spite, spite spawns lies. You must know this, Dumbledore." 这段的用字好棒 --- "Oh, he definitely wanted the Defense Against the Dark Arts job," said Dumbledore. "The aftermath of our little meeting proved that. You see, we have never been able to keep a Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher for longer than a year since I refused the post to Lord Voldemort." 这样说的话，应该在哈利波特上学前，这个职位也每年换人；那应该在第一集就要预告比 较好，Hogwarts的七大秘密之类的… --- "How do you spell 'belligerent'?" said Ron, shaking his quill very hard while staring at his parchment. "It can't be B - U - M -" "No, it isn't," said Hermione, pulling Ron's essay toward her. "And 'augury' doesn't begin O - R - G either. What kind of quill are you using?" "It's one of Fred and George's Spell-Check ones, but I think the charm must be wearing off." "拼字校正笔"让我想到现在手机输入文字也都会自动矫正XD --- "I love you, Hermione," said Ron, sinking back in his chair, rub-bing his eyes wearily. Hermione turned faintly pink, but merely said, "Don't let Lavender hear you saying that." 终於告白。其实觉得这段很没营养，如果说之前让我讨厌的是魁地奇，那第六集最让我无 言的就是感情戏… --- "But you won't help her son," said Harry. "She gave me her life, but you won't give me a memory." Harry对Slughorn使用亲情勒索~ --- This being the case, Harry, it will be your job to make sure I keep drinking, even if you have to tip the potion into my protesting mouth. You understand?" 为了取得魂器，Dumbledore必需忍痛喝掉药水。但其实不太懂为什麽只能喝掉那个药水… 以下是与友人的对话： 友：我觉得其实就先出去 反正不喝水阴屍不会出现 出去後先变一瓶矿泉水 然後再进去 事前场勘很难吗!!!!! Zon：我是觉得为什麽不能给其他人喝盆子里的水@@ 友：而且不是不能变魔法啊 除了在那个水瓢里面变水之外的魔法明明都可以。对啊随便 带个路人 或给哈利喝就好 Zon：逻辑上有问题@@ 友：真的 就算不带人 随便带个动物也可以（？ Zon：突然觉得阿多和年纪大的老板一样，很固执；小员工哈利只能听话办事 友：对哈哈哈哈。场勘很难吗！明明看完就可以先离开现场 准备完全再回去 Zon：说真的那时也没啥时间压力。他们就算毁了这个，还有其他的魂器不知在哪。 友：对 逻辑很问号哈哈 Zon：搭小船过去的时候我也觉得很妙，为什麽不飞过去，或是apparate 友：就说很多逻辑问号哈哈哈 Zon：在里面施法明明施的很开心 Zon：而且里面厚，不是只有他们两个阿呆阿呆的 - that he would be drowned, and become one more dead guardian of a fragment of Voldemorts shattered soul... Zon：表示这些Inferi都是以前要来找魂器的。.算了，这还好，搞不好佛地魔其实有当过 吹笛人，英国赶屍之类的 --- 'I've got a couple behind the bar,' she said, looking very frightened. 'Shall I run and fetch -?' 'No, Harry can do it.' Harry raised his wand at once. 'Accio Rosmerta's brooms.' 我一直觉得Accio这个咒语怪怪的，没看过的东西也可以召唤@@ --- someone was dead ... Malfoy had stepped over the body ... but who was it? 突然让我想到Malfoy的身体+某议员的脸... Over My Dead Body!!! 鬼娃洽吉!!! --- "You thought I would not weesh to marry him? Or per'aps, you hoped?" said Fleur, her nostrils flaring. "What do I care how he looks? I am good-looking enough for both of us, I theenk! All these scars show is zat my husband is brave! And I shall do zat!" she added fiercely, Fleur虽然一开始不太受Weasley家的小朋友喜欢，但在Bill受重伤时说出这段真感人QQ --- '1 was going through ihe rest of the old Prophets and there was a tiny announcement about Eileen Prince marrying a man called Tobias Snape, and then later an announcement saying that she'd given birth to a -' '- murderer,' spat Harry. 原来Snape的妈妈叫Prince... 所以他自称Half-Blood Prince，也没有很屁啦... --- "What say you, Draco?" asked Voldemort, and though his voice was quiet 佛地魔是不是英文不好 --- They say, still, that no Wizarding duel ever matched that between Dumbledore and Grindelwald in 1945. Those who witnessed it have written of the terror and the awe they felt as they watched these two extraordinary wizards do battle. 终於出现 Grindelwald!!! --- “Darling Dodgy! I remember interviewing him a few years back about merpeople rights, bless him. Completely gaga, seemed to think we were sitting at the bottom of Lake Windermere, kept telling me to watch out for trout.” 我有去过这座湖耶，开心~ 相关游记： https://www.zoncheng.com/2018/04/0326-study-design-art-and-culture-uk.html --- Er – no, they don’t,’ said Harry. ‘They think I’m a waste of space, actually, but I’m used to –’ ‘I don’t think you’re a waste of space.’ If Harry had not seen Dudley’s lips move, he might not have believed it. As it was, he stared at Dudley for several seconds before accepting that it must have been his cousin who had spoken; for one thing, Dudley had turned red. Harry was embarrassed and astonished himself. ‘Well ... er ... thanks, Dudley.’ Harry与Dudley，好感人的大和解。 是爱。 --- In desperation Harry pointed his wand at the sidecar and shouted, “ Wingardium Leviosa!” 看了七集，我记住最长的一个咒语… --- The next thing he knew, he was lying on his back on what felt like cushions, with a burning sensation in his ribs and right arm. His missing tooth had been regrown. Hermione他爸 (牙医) 看来在巫师的世界是赚不到钱的 --- The realization crashed over him: He felt ashamed of himself as the tears stung his eyes. The owl had been his companion, his one great link with the magical world whenever he had been forced to return to the Dursleys. Hedwig在第七集的时候突然的挂了…突然觉得Hedwig很重要 ~_~ --- “Ron, you know full well Harry and I were brought up by Muggles!” said Hermione. “We didn’t hear stories like that when we were little, we heard ‘ Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’ and ‘Cinderella’ —” “What’s that, an illness?” asked Ron. 我上语言学校的时候，发现韩国人知道西游记的时候是满讶异的 --- “Another Weasley? You breed like gnomes. Isn’t Harry Potter here? I was hoping to meet him. I thought he was a friend of yours, Ronald, or have you merely been boasting?” 卫思理家族的人太多被消遣 --- “But . . . you couldn’t Apparate in and out of that cave,” said Harry, “ otherwise Dumbledore —” “Elf magic isn’t like wizard’s magic, is it?” said Ron. “I mean, they can Apparate and Disapparate in and out of Hogwarts when we can’t.” 没想到这点，还满符合逻辑的~ --- Without pausing to think, Harry tried to drag back the hand, but there was no stopping it. The silver tool that Voldemort had given his most cowardly servant had turned upon its disarmed and useless owner; Pettigrew was reaping his reward for his hesitation, his moment of pity; he was being strangled before their eyes. 没想到虫尾是这样死的 --- The elf swayed slightly, stars reflected in his wide, shining eyes. Together, he and Harry looked down at the silver hilt of the knife protruding from the elf’s heaving chest. “Dobby — no — HELP!” Harry bellowed toward the cottage, toward the people moving there. “HELP!” 悲伤 --- And then with a little shudder the elf became quite still, and his eyes were nothing more than great glassy orbs, sprinkled with light from the stars they could not see. 多比死亡的章节，结尾收的超美。 --- “Get down!” Harry shouted, as more curses flew through the night: He and Ron had both grabbed Hermione and pulled her to the floor, but Percy lay across Fred’s body, shielding it from further harm, and when Harry shouted, “Percy, come on, we’ve got to move!” he shook his head. “Percy!” Harry saw tear tracks streaking the grime coating Ron’s face as he seized his elder brother’s shoulders and pulled, but Percy would not budge. “Percy, you can’t do anything for him! We’re going to —” Percy最圣人的时刻~ --- “DON’T!” bellowed Snape. “Gone . . . dead . . .” “Is this remorse, Severus?” “I wish . . . I wish I were dead. . . .” Snape在Dumbledore前忏悔，希望自己能代Lily死… --- “I have spied for you and lied for you, put myself in mortal danger for you. Everything was supposed to be to keep Lily Potter’s son safe. Now you tell me you have been raising him like a pig for slaughter —” Snape与Dumbledore的对谈，把Harry当食用猪养的比喻满好笑的~ 这段电影里也有完全的演出来 --- Hundreds of people now lined the walls, watching the two fights, Voldemort and his three opponents, Bellatrix and Molly, and Harry stood, invisible, torn between both, wanting to attack and yet to protect, unable to be sure that he would not hit the innocent. Harry与Voldemort的最终决战…好奇怪，大家在旁边看戏…是中世纪战斗，两边主将大对 决吗@@ --- “Albus Severus,” Harry said quietly, so that nobody but Ginny could hear, and she was tactful enough to pretend to be waving to Rose, who was now on the train, “you were named for two headmasters of Hogwarts. One of them was a Slytherin and he was probably the bravest man I ever knew.” 看到前两个字突然头皮发麻... --- The scar had not pained Harry for nineteen years.
