NBA Development League call-up Chris Hunter will get the start Friday against
Washington instead of second-year, first-round pick Anthony Randolph.
Hunter, who totaled all of 15 minutes, on the Warriors' recent five-game road
trip will be matched up against Brendan Haywood. Randolph, who has been
rumored in trade talks recently, will come off the bench.
The starting position has been opened by the surgery to remove bone spurs
from the right heel of Mikki Moore. He had the procedure Friday in
Indianapolis and will miss at least three months, according to the Warriors.
The team is still without big men Andris Biedrins (groin/abdomen) and Ronny
Turiaf (knee), who have played four games apiece but could return for the
road swing through Memphis and New Orleans next week.
