一、 地点Lugar
1. 旁边 junto a; al lado de
ex: Let's sit by the fire.
=Sent幦onos junto al fuego.
al lado del fuego.
2. 从前方经过 por delante de
ex: He went by the Town Hall.
=Paspor delante del Ayuntamiento.
3. 路经 por
ex: We came by the fields, no by the road.
=Vinimos por los campos, no por la carretera.
二、时间 tiempo
1. 在～的时候 durante
ex: 在白天by day = durante el d燰
在晚上by night = durante la noche
2. 在～之前 para
ex: Have this finished by the end of the month.
=Ten esto terminado para fin de mes.
3. 当 para cuando; cuando
ex: By the time we found the boy...
=Cuando encontramos al chico...
4 到时候 para entonces
ex: You would know the answer by then.
=Tendrias las respuestas para entonces.
三、藉由
1. 人 por; de
ex: a play by Bernard Shaw.
=una obras de teatro de B.S.
2. 方法手段 por; con
ex: He makes a living by teaching.
=Se gana la vida con la ense鎙nza.
ex: They get paid by hour.
=Les pagan por horas.
3. 交通工具 por; en
ex: I went to Barcelona by train.
=Fui a Barcelona en tren.
