man. can't agree with you more. Before moving back to TW, I've lived in NYC
for ten years and i've known tons of native speakers. It's not my english
accent is perfect or what. It's all about how you wanna make friends with them
To americans you're a foreigners. So they won't tell you by themselves if you
don't talk to them first. So my take would be --find a good timing and talk
to people. you will find it no difficult at all.
