标题[Ask ] The english name of fruits....

I wonder if this question should be placed here, the plant board,
or in the ask board? Anyway, some foreigners here, they might know the answer.
Well, I saw some fruits pictures with their English names on the wall
of my office.
And I found that....
Why did some fruits, such as pinapple and wax apple,
have "apple" in their english names, though they have no
relationships with apple?
