Well, it isn't fair to attribute your trouble to the others' poor English ability. What you said might be true, but not all people in Taiwan whose English was as weak as you assumed. The problem might be that you get the wrong way to choose partners practicing speaking with you. Providing you have so many friends who have similar background to you, why don't you invite them to do it with you. Perhaps they don't have the wills, but you can hold a study group for the same English level as yours. (There is the "StudyGroup" board in PTT.) I believe you wouldn't be the only person who want to find someone practicing ADVANCED English oral ability. Where there is a will, there is a way. --
