Though its called NATO Phonetic Alphabet,
I believe that they start to use this code
way before NATO was founded after world war II.
Seen it in Band of brothers and Code red
and many other militant-related movies.
My friend who served in AAC of Air Force had
studied these decoding process,
and it aint so easy as he said.
