Although I don't totally agree with those guys, I do see some truths (from what I have experienced or heard before) in their posts. However, I won't use such strong and offensive words to describe those girls. In US, many schools have Chinese Student Association or Taiwanese Student Association. One of their job is to assign a driver to pick up new arrival students in the airport and to take them to do some necessary shopping in the following days. How long those new students need the driver's help? It all depends on the individuals case by case. Generally, guys are more independent and it won't take them too long to be on their own. But for girls, it may take longer. One reason may be that the girl is attractive and the guy wants to help her as long as he can so he might get chance to develop some romance with the girl. In this case, guy does the job wish eagerness. But since not all girls are good looking and independent, they may need others to assist them more. Unfortunately, some of them take other's helping hand for granted. That's how we hear the complaints from guys. Even I don't like this kind of behavior, I won't be too harsh on them. Because I think people tend to be more selfish and “mean” in the foreign land no matter their gender. It's difficult and scary when you first landed on the strange land. Everything was so unfamiliar and you would grab any help you could find from the persons around you. Some people are grateful about other's help, but some (maybe girls more) are forgetful about other's assistances. I am not sure it only happens to the Taiwanese girls though. Maybe under the same circumstance, all women (or men) are the same. So I won’t be as angry as those guys. I am not sure I have provided the assurance you need, but that's how I feel about about the overseas Taiwanese girls. --
