标题[请益] With开头的子句，主词动词怎麽看

我看不太懂
The beach was not only able to support the weitght of a 6 tonna orca,
but with enough wiggling the cetacean could squirm its way back to the
safety of deeper water.
第二行的but大概就是but also，那主词是with...cetacean?
with +.. 当主词，是有省略什麽吗?
