标题[文法] 这句话哪里有文错?

国中英文文法考题…
文法挑错，题目如下:
I saw the woman punished the boy after he broke the screen.
I saw 後面接子句
子句描述过去简单的事实 ，因此使用过去简单式
真的看不出哪里有错
请各位高手帮忙解答，谢谢
