在线上Cambridge Dictionary查number这个字
看到2个例句：
例句1
A small number of children are educated at home.
例句2
A large number of invitations has been sent.
第1句的动词复数，因为孩子2个以上，这个可以理解
第2句的has用单数，不用复数have，是为什麽呢? 请帖不是2张以上吗?
目前理解的是...
被动
A large number of invitations were sent.
加上完成式
A large number of invitations have been sent.
