标题[文法] 关於knowing that 的文法求助

最近在网路上看到一个句子
We can choose to do a guided tour and have a fairly relaxed trip knowing that everything has been pre arranged, or elect to plan our own travel.
我想knowing that 在此应该是分词构句做省略的结果，但是是怎麽省略的我很不确定
是来自於and we know that 吗？
可是这样and 好像太多而且没有逗号，
还是来自於because we know that 呢 但每次找到都是在句首省略的情况 例如：
After Amy knew the truth, she couldn't help but cry.
变成Knowing the truth, Kim couldn 't
help but cry
或者是根本并非分词构句呢 ？
