标题[请益] as much as vs although

早上开车时听到 ICRT 的主持人说
"I don't have dogs, as much as I like dogs"
语意上听起来 as much as = although
刚刚进办公室後稍微 google 了一下
某些字典直接用 although 或 even though 当作 as much as 的解释
e.g.,

但也有一些讨论串说母语者会觉得这两者有所不同，但从讨论串中我看不出本质上的差异
