标题[文法] 两个元素有一是复数时接复数动词

若主词中的两个元素是用either … or (either 经常省略) 或 neither … nor 来连接
，其後接单一动词，且两个元素至少有一个是复数，那麽该动词也必须为复数。例如：
Neither the teacher nor the students are able to solve the math problem. (老师
和学生都解不出这个数学问题) (正) － teacher是单数，students 是复数，所以动词用
are (不是 is)。
There were neither cakes nor ice cream at the birthday party. (生日聚会上既没
有蛋糕也没有冰淇淋) (正)
Neither the detectives nor the policemen know him. (警探和警察都不认识他) (正
) (不是 knows)
Either Amy and Sarah or Kevin has to go there. (不是艾美和莎拉就是凯文必须去那
里) (误)
