标题[请益] antecedent这个字......?

想请教版友们~
在网路上看一个字源书时, 里面有一个例句如下:
In the sentence "This is the book that I bought yesterday."
"that" is the antecedent of "the book."
(在"This is the book that I bought yesterday."这个句子中, "that"
是"the book"的先行词)
敝人的问题是, "that I bought yesterday"是形容词子句, 就文法来说,
the book是关代"that"的先行词才对呀......所以, 原句有没有问题?
还是原作者是要表达其他意思, 而敝人会错意了? @@"
