I’ve removed ‘that’ x3 and tidied it up a little. You could use a question mark at the end if you wanted to soften it. ＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝ 值得注意的是，他这句话 「You could use a question mark at the end if you wanted to soften it.」 是「现在事实相反」的假设语气，我想他是针对於我已经写了那句话的「事实」， 因此用这种假设语气。 但如果用我们中文的思维，「如果想让语气变得比较婉转，你可以在句子最後用问号」， 应该会用条件句的方式来写， 「You can use a question mark at the end if you want to soften it.」 然而我觉得这是外国人和我们思维方式的差异，所以我如果想强调的是「以後」 发生这样的情况，是不是就可以用条件句来表示呢？ 我就回文说： If I want to say next time when this may happen, can I say the following?
