标题[请益] 单复数与名词修饰名词

这里想要请问3个问题。
1.「A和B的效果是不一样的」这句话要翻成
The effects of A and B are different.
还是
The effect of A is different from that of B.
还是
The effect of A and B are different.
以上这三种翻法，那些文法上是通的？
还是有更恰当的翻法？
2.「A,B,C和D的效果都是有被证实的」这句话要翻成
The effects of A, B, C, D are all proved.
还是
The effect of A, B, C, D are all proved.
以上这两种翻法，那一种是对的？
还是有更恰当的翻法？
3.像是「patient population」这个词里，是用
patient名词来修饰population这个名词。那我
的问题是有没有什麽规则或是文法有写到什麽样
的状况下可以用「名词修饰名词」？还是只能看
到一个就记一个，并没有什麽规则可言？
