标题[文法] 想问一下这个句子的用法

下面这句话是来自怪物讲师
Don't spend your life worrying as your insurance rates get higher and higher.
有点疑惑的是worry as，
这是一个动词片语，还是as是一个独立连接词 ? 如果是当连接词，这个as该怎麽翻 ?
