标题[求译] 求「定存中途解约，利息打八折」的正确译法

想请教以下这句话的翻译，因为银行常有老外来，如何用道地的英文对老外说清楚讲明白
呢？
『定存若中途解约，利息会遭受损失。未满一个月时，不予计息，超过一个月，利息打八
折』。
个人试译如下： If you release the time deposit before the maturity date, you
will suffer the loss of the interest. In less than one month, the bank will
not give you the interest. In more than one month, your interest will be
discounted 20% off as an penalty.
但觉得怪怪的，想要求较为道地的译法。
