标题[请益] 几个克漏字的问题

今天补习班考完模拟考，有些题目有疑惑
清明节连续假日间没有老师可以解答QQ
麻烦各位大人帮忙解惑(跪
In the 1920's, farmers in the Midwest were looking for a new crop.
They wanted a food crop that was full of protein and oil, and could
grow well in their area. They discoverd the soybean, a nutlike bean
that was first _(1)_ in China. Today, soybean-based products are often
used as substitute for meat and other foods.
That is just one example of how research has led to a change in people's

more variety. There are thousands of different kinds of plants, animals,

选项有:grown uncovered sold caught
我选uncovered，不明白这题为什麽是grown 是先试种在中国的意思吗?
(2)answer: unlikely
选项有: unfamiliar unknown familiar unlikely
我是选unfamiliar unlikely字典查到的意思是 "不太可能的、靠不住的"
不懂这句的意思QQ
(3)answer:eat
选项有: eating eaten eat 和 have eaten
我是选eating 依照老师教的应该是ving阿~
问了同学，同学却说她一律都选RV~ =口=
结果我们越讨论越乱 哈哈

还有一题单字我觉得怪怪的
It is [imperative] that patients with mental illness take the drugs
regularly to avoid high-risk situation.
题目是问[]中的单字可替换成哪个单字?
我选vital 答案却是excessive
同学有查到excessive有极重要的意思(不知道她哪里查到的)

她说因为是>> 然而，过去人们只习惯吃一小类
现在不是了，所以她觉得是用eat没错
昨天讨论後有点越讨论越乱的感觉XD
