这两题性质一样为何第4题可选A,第6却不能选C?

13 （ ）Fall is coming, and the weather is getting _______.
(A) hotter and hotter
(B) colder and colder
(C) warmer and warmer
(D) cooler and cooler
这题不能选B,只是因为cold是凉快,而不是寒冷这个原因吗?
