标题[请益] in late 2009要放在哪里?

Not wanting to plateau in my career, I began thinking about what steps I
needed to take to continue the success I had achieved.
要把 in the late 2009 加进去. 表示"在2009年底开始思考..."
加句首吗? 可是这样会不会有太多逗号的疑虑?
加句尾吗? 是不是又可能被误以为2009年底的success
请问先进们,我该怎麽加?
