标题[请益] she's very much of the moment?
时间Sat Dec 25 18:33:01 2010
读了一篇讲威廉王子未婚妻的报导,
不解其中一段里的一句话,还请高手解读。
整个段落如下:
"She's a very modern English woman," says Joanne Fowler, senior writer for
People, which closely covers all royals but especially the British variety.
"She's not like Diana, who was from an aristocratic family. (Middleton) is
smart. She's athletic, she's very much of the moment. Everything about her is
well thought out. She's handled her time in the limelight with incredible
grace and dignity, not making a mess of anything."
倒数第三行的 "She's very much of the moment"
是什麽意思?
of the moment 有「盛行一时」之意,
但不太符合上下文的样子。
