此题答案为A,我想问说为何要用完成式,可以用works吗?

A. have lied
B. had been lain
C. have been laid
D. have been lying
此题答案为D,我是选的出来;请问可以改成have lain吗? 但是为何要用完成式呢?
是因为"all week"吗?可以改成lie吗?
