标题[文法] 关於冠词 a 的小疑问

各位好，
我想请教的问题是：
这个"a"要不要加？

Since I was a little boy, my aunt who married to a Japanese had been telling
me about the good educational environments, the convenient daily life style,
and the courteous Japanese people.
我问了外文系的朋友她说要加，可是加了之後word出现绿底线叫我去掉。我好两难啊～囧
我朋友跟我说不然你写married to a Japanese man，可我觉得这样有点怪。
有稍微看了一下跟爬了一下文，没有看到类似的问题。请大家指点一下，感谢！
