如有违反版规请多指教
我想请问关於文法的问题
今天看到一篇文章"I was born in the U.S.A."
以及 I was born in the United States"
这时候有人问我为什麽要加"the"
因为以前学过例如 This was made in U.S.A.
^^^
或者是 I was born in Taiwan. 就不需要加the
到底是什麽原因加了the呢?
以及是否可以省略不加?
加的用意是什麽??
上网google找不到答案
想请教版上的高手能回答我这相当基础的问题
