最近复习高中英文，有一个题目感到困惑
Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone soon become a bestseller.
It attracted the attention of both the young and the old all over the world.
1.2 合并成:
Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone soon become a bestseller
"attracting" the attention of both the young and the old all over the world.
我想问：
attracting 是不是应该改成attracted？
我个人认为attract在文中应该是有被动的意思(being p.p，省略being)....
板上大大可否告诉我我的想法对不对？
如果不对，请告诉我原因...让我知道错在哪....感激不尽!
