第一个: utilitarianism
英汉字典写「功利主义」，但是我查了两本英英字典，似乎不是这个意思。
Oxford: the belief that the right course of action is the one that will
produce the greatest happiness of the greatest number of people.
Macmillan: the belief that something is morally right if it helps a majority
of people.
照这两本字典字面上的意义，utilitarianism应该是指「为大众谋福利的信念」
功利主义有负面的意义。
第二个: many a ...
中文: 破帽之下多好人 (翻译的技巧--钱歌川)
英文: There is many a good man to be found under a shabby hat.
为什麽要用many a good man, 而不是many men??
