标题[求译] 句义求解

Nightmares exist outside of logic and there is little fun to be had in
explanations. They are antithetical to the poetry of fear.
请问第二句的 antithetical 究竟是指 nightmares 和 poetry of fear，
还是 nightmares 和 explanations 呢？
我的理解是：梦靥不受逻辑所限，而且解释了就没什麽有趣了。
在恐惧的趣味上，梦靥与解释是对立的。
