标题[请益] believe这样用是否妥当?

我这里有两句句子是接连在一起使用的，想放在作文的开头
I think there will be more cars in use than there are today.
I believe that this is true for several reasons.

"this"这边表示我第一句所说的事情，
believe後面+that 再接一个句子应该是OK的~
可是这样看起来很冗长~
不知道各位板友有何看法呢?!
请分享一下您的高见~~
