请问版上对於英文作文友研究的版友，
我曾经听过一个说法，成语在外国的作文中并不是很常见，
且如果用的话会被人家觉得很老掉牙或掉书袋，
这是正确的观念吗？
想知道外国人在写文章时使用成语的频率是多少？
