我在英文翻译书中看到如下的用法, 觉得不太了解,所以希望英文好的网友可以帮我解说
一下:
1. Such as have plenty of money will never want for friends.
= Those who have plenty of money will never want for friends.
2. Her behavior was such as might be expected of a young lady.
= Her behavior was that which might be expected of a young lady.
以上两句中 such as = those who ? such as = that which?
请问这是什麽用法呢?such as 在上述两例中的句型要如何翻译呢?
3. This is such an easy book as any child can read.
4. This is such an easy book that any child can read it.
以上两句的差别在哪呢?第三句的such...as...应该如何翻译较好呢?
