求英译：
句子：XX活动是我们公司第一次尝试,已为我们公司写下历史的新页。
我的试译：XX is the first try for our company. It has made a history of 公司名.
提问： 感觉好像很中式英文.但我曾听老外总经理鼓励大家时说叫大家为自己创造历史时
说到"make a history of yourself."
那时还特别记起来.但不确定是否真的可以这样用.
还是of要改成for呢?
请各位前辈指导
