以下有两个句子
The boy is sitting next to me. / I like the boy.
请问大家会怎麽合并呢?
我直觉是I like the boy who is sitting next to me.
但是The boy whom I like is sitting next to me.这样不知道可不可以?
另一题
The police caught the thief. / The thief stole a car.
可以合并成The thief whom the police caught stole a car.这样吗?
还是只能The police caught the thief who stole a car.
请各位英文强大的乡民帮回答
